| At
Ahn's TaeKwonDo, we
offer excellent classes and training for all ages and abilities through
the following programs. We guarantee that every class will be
taught by one of our highly trained and qualified World TaeKwonDo
Federation (WTF) Certified Master Instructors, and you will learn
TaeKwonDo according to the WTF Olympic Rules and Regulations. |
| Little Tigers Program |
|
|
Students
in the Little Tigers Program are between the ages of 3.5 to 6.
These classes are designed to help the children develop better
coordination, balance, discipline, concentration, and confidence.
The children will also learn to respect others and follow
instructions while having fun and learning the basics of self-defense
through TaeKwonDo. The children will have the opportunity to
advance at their own pace and can earn their colored belts through the
Rank Promotion Tests.
- Open to 3.5 to 6 year old children.
- Classes are offered Monday through Friday.
- A child would come two days each week.
- Classes
are focused toward physical development, self-discipline, learning to
respect others, and having fun while learning the basics of TaeKwonDo.

| Regular Program Classes |
|
The
Regular Program Classes are for everyone from the beginner student
through Black Belt. In all of the following Regular Program
Classes, students will learn WTF TaeKwonDo forms & basic motions,
basic sparring techniques, and colored belt level requirements for
weapons and board breaking.

| All Belt ..................... |
Everyone from the beginner student through Black Belt can come and
enjoy the All Belt Level classes regardless of age or belt level.
It's a great opportunity for friends and/or family members to
take class and train together even if they are not at the same level.
All Belt Classes are offered every day, Monday-Saturday at
convenient times to fit everyone's schedule. |
| Teen and Adult......... |
Open to students from 13 years old to adult - at any belt level - from
beginner to Black Belt. The Teen/Adult classes will help you
relieve stress, reduce weight and get you into great shape! The
classes offer more stretching, toning and body coordination exercises
in addition to learning the same TaeKwonDo curriculum as the colored
belt level classes. |
| Form(All)................... |
For all Belt Levels - Students may attend the Form(All) class only if they want to spend additional time working on their colored belt level form and basic motions. Students should not come to the class to learn their forms
- they should already be familiar with them. Masters will be
available to assist the students if they need help while practicing
their forms. |

| Specialty Program Classes |
|
The following classes are optional and are offered 'in addition to' our Regular Program Classes. In each class students will learn new and exciting skills and techniques.
| Sparring ................... |
Students will have
the opportunity to "put into practice" the kicking and punching
techniques they have learned in the Regular Program Classes, and will
learn and practice sparring techniques such as proper kicking,
strategy, offensive and defensive moves and timing against a sparring
opponent. Students will need to wear proper protective gear,
which can be purchased from the school.

(This class is helpful in preparing for Promotion Testing from Jr. Black Belt Test and higher.)
|
|
*A
student may only attend the Sparring Classes if he/she is a Green Belt
or higher, has been approved by the Masters, and is enrolled in
a '3 times a week or more' program. (Little Tigers are not
eligible for these classes.)

|
|
| Weapons................... |
Students will
learn to use the Jang-Bong (long pole), Sword and Nunchuku.
Learning proper forms and techniques while using these weapons
can be used for self-defense and in demonstrations and performances.
|
|
(Students will not learn or practice their 'colored belt
level requirements' for weapons in this class. The requirements they
need to learn for their Promotion Tests will be taught during their
Regular Program Classes.)
|
|
*A student may only attend the Weapons Classes if he/she is a Green Belt or higher, has been approved
by the Masters, and is enrolled in an "unlimited" program.
(Little Tigers are not eligible for these classes.) |

|
| Self-Defense............. |
Through
simulated situations of what could happen in real life; students will
learn and practice proper personal safety techniques and how to defend
themselves in dangerous, violent or personal emergency situations (how
to stop an attacker). Classes are taught by Masters with
extensive self-defense training and experience (over 21 years'
experience).

*A student may only attend the Self-Defense Classes if he/she is a Green Belt or higher, has been approved
by the Masters, and is enrolled in an "unlimited" program.
(Little Tigers are not eligible for these classes.) |

|
|
| Elite Training Program |
|
|
The
Elite Training Program classes are offered only to the advanced
students who show strong dedication and enthusiasm as well as a higher
skill level. These classes are also for the students who choose
to take their TaeKwonDo skills to the next level by training for
tournaments and competitions. Each class is very intensive and is
only for the students that have been recommended and admitted by the
Masters.
| Leadership

For the students who are interested in becoming TaeKwonDo Black Belts, Instructors, Masters or Grand Masters.

| Elite Forms .............. |
For
the students who are training to compete in Forms in tournaments and
competitions. TaeKwonDo forms are practiced in extreme detail
throughout the full class period.
|
| Elite Sparring............ |
For
the students who are training to compete in Sparring in tournaments and
competitions. TaeKwonDo sparring techniques and strategies are
practiced in extreme detail throughout the full class period.
Class duration is 90 minutes.

Demonstration
Team..................... |
Open
to those who are admitted to the school's Demonstration Team.
Eligibility is based on the student's performance, dedication,
and commitment that they exhibit during their Regular Program classes.
The Demonstration Team performs at various public events
throughout the year, such as professional ball games, local parades,
school functions, etc. Demonstrations include TaeKwonDo forms,
breaking, sword, jang-bong, nunchuku and self-defense routines.
Being a member of the Demonstration Team requires a greater time
commitment in addition to attending Regular and Specialty Program
classes.
